BAYTSP TO SPONSOR "SCCA SUMMER FUN AT SECA"
ROAD RACING JUNE 11-13 AT MAZDA RACEWAY AT LAGUNA SECA

June 4, 2004, LOS GATOS, Calif. - BayTSP, a Los Gatos firm that provides online intellectual property protection for record labels, movie studios and software companies announced today that it is sponsoring the June "SCCA Summer Fun at Seca", Oil Recycling Champions Double Regional road races June 11-13 at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca.

The three-day event, sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), will feature more than 300 entries and two full days of wheel-to-wheel racing on Laguna Seca's 2.4-mile, 11-turn race course.

"Sponsoring an SCCA racing event is a great opportunity for us to offer our clients, employees, their families and friends an exciting weekend of racing at a world-class facility," said BayTSP CEO Mark Ishikawa. "The SCCA has an outstanding reputation for professionalism and sponsoring the event is an ideal way for us to get visibility for the company."

BayTSP sponsors Ishikawa's Formula Atlantic racing team. Mark is leading the SCCA's regional Formula Atlantic point standings with three wins so far this season. Ishikawa took first place in the Formula Atlantic regional series last year.

Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca is a world-renowned racing facility and events at the facility attract hundreds of thousands of spectators annually.

Directions to Laguna Seca and to the Racing Hospitality Tent

To Laguna Seca from San Jose - take Hwy 17/Hwy 1 south into Seaside, exit on Canyon Del Rey Blvd and follow to Hwy 68 East, within a few miles you will see the large sign on your left. Take the road inside to the right and go up the steep hill.

Proceed up the hill to the Ranger hut – show your wrist band and say you are with the SCCA to enter - if they make you pay $6 Park Use Fee we will reimburse you.

Once inside the track you will be stopped and asked to read and sign a waiver form and an additional form for minors.

At this point proceed slowly to B for preferred parking, if full you may be directed to park in area #1, or up on the hill in lot #2 and walk in. Look for the Ishikawa Racing transporter in area A on the map.

 

Please be careful in the paddock as racecars with sharp edges/wings are moving about and have no horn to warn you.
Keep children close, and beware of hot surfaces such as exhaust pipes and BBQ’s.
Ishikawa Racing and BayTSP are not responsible for any injury, loss, or theft that may occur.
